While climbing and rigging will always be the backbone of our tree work, we are proud to be the first company in the Northern Virginia region to utilize the latest in tree cutting technology: The TREEMEK. 

The Treemek:

A crane mounted remote controlled grapple saw – is one of the most advanced and safest methods of removing a tree as it eliminates or (at the very least) reduces the time a climber spends in a tree, thus lessening the chance of accident or mishap due to tree failure, climber fatigue, and/or human error. With the ability to access areas too small for a cable crane, as well as reach distances further than a bucket truck, the Treemek is the perfect tool for safe and efficient tree removal.

  • Safe – Not only does the Treemek limit the exposure of a climber within the tree, it also reduces the risks associated to all workers on site. Trees, more specifically dead/hazardous trees, can be taken apart and processed in a more controlled manner lessening the overall chance of injury or accident.
  • Low Impact –  This method of tree removal has little impact to the surrounding property similar to that of a traditional cable crane. The Treemek removes portions of the tree and brings them to a designated area for processing, thus saving your lawn from the “war-zone” look often associated with tree removal operations.
